Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the services and website of Altitude Auto Detail LLC ("Altitude," "we," "us," or "our"), a mobile auto-detailing business operating in and around Farmington, Utah. By booking a service, texting our business line, or using our website, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

1. Our Services

Altitude provides mobile automotive detailing — we come to your location to clean and detail cars, trucks, SUVs, and semi-truck cabs. Services include interior detailing, exterior detailing, full (interior + exterior) details, specialty add-ons (such as carpet/seat shampoo, clay bar, leather conditioning, engine-bay cleaning, and odor treatment), and recurring membership plans. We do not service boats, RVs, or motorcycles. Service descriptions, packages, and pricing may change at any time; the price quoted at booking applies to that booking.

2. Booking & Scheduling

  • Appointments can be requested by text, phone, or our website and are confirmed once scheduled.
  • We operate by appointment, generally Monday–Friday, and book up to roughly three months out.
  • Quoted times are estimates; actual service length depends on vehicle size, condition, and add-ons.
  • We will text you reminders before your appointment and may text to coordinate arrival.

3. Deposits & Payment

  • Deposit: A deposit equal to 10% of the service total is required to hold your appointment. The deposit is applied to your final balance.
  • The deposit is non-refundable if you cancel, but it carries over if you reschedule (see Section 4).
  • Balance: The remaining balance is due upon completion of the service.
  • Accepted payment: credit/debit card (via our secure payment link), cash, and Venmo. We do not accept Apple Pay, Square, or personal checks.
  • Card payments are processed by a third-party processor (Stripe); we do not store your full card details.
  • Prices are in U.S. dollars and exclude applicable sales tax unless stated otherwise.

4. Cancellations & Rescheduling

  • You may reschedule your appointment; your deposit carries over to the new date.
  • If you cancel, the 10% deposit is non-refundable.
  • We ask for reasonable notice so we can offer the slot to another customer.
  • We reserve the right to reschedule due to weather, equipment, staffing, or safety reasons, and will work with you to find a new time.

5. Service Area & Site Requirements

  • We travel approximately 35 miles from Farmington, Utah. Locations outside our usual range may not be serviceable; we'll let you know before booking.
  • We bring our own power. We need access to a working water source (an outdoor spigot/hose) at the service location.
  • You must provide safe, legal, and reasonable access to the vehicle (keys/access, parking, and space to work).
  • Weather: rain only forces a reschedule when there is no covered/garage space. With a garage we can usually still perform the service.

6. Satisfaction Guarantee

We stand behind our work. If something isn't right, contact us within 48 hours of your service and we'll make it right at no additional charge, at our discretion (typically a touch-up or re-do of the affected area). This guarantee covers our workmanship and does not cover new dirt, normal use after service, or pre-existing conditions.

7. Your Responsibilities

  • Please remove personal valuables, cash, electronics, and important items from the vehicle before service. We are not responsible for personal items left in the vehicle.
  • Let us know in advance about pets in the vehicle, biohazards, heavy contamination, aftermarket electronics, wraps, delicate finishes, or known mechanical/electrical issues so we can plan appropriately.

8. Pre-Existing Conditions & Limitation of Liability

  • Detailing can reveal or, in rare cases, draw attention to pre-existing damage(e.g., worn or lifting clear coat, prior scratches/chips, cracked or brittle trim, stained or damaged upholstery, failing seals, or electrical faults). Altitude is not responsible for pre-existing conditions or for normal wear that becomes more visible after cleaning.
  • You agree to inspect the vehicle at completion and notify us of any concern within 48 hours (see Section 6).
  • To the fullest extent permitted by law, Altitude's total liability for any claim arising from a service is limited to the amount you paid for that service. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
  • Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

9. Membership Plans (Altitude Club)

  • Membership plans provide recurring detailing on a set cadence at member pricing. Plan details (frequency, price, vehicle) are confirmed when you enroll.
  • Membership pricing is locked at your enrolled rate while your membership remains active.
  • You may cancel a membership at any time; cancellation stops future scheduled visits and billing going forward and does not refund services already rendered. Contact us to cancel.

10. Text Messaging (SMS) Terms

By providing your mobile number, you consent to receive text messages from Altitude Auto Detail related to your service — including booking confirmations, appointment reminders, arrival updates, payment/balance messages, follow-ups, and (if you opt in) occasional offers.

  • Message frequency varies based on your activity with us.
  • Message and data rates may apply.
  • Reply STOP to any message to opt out of texts at any time. Reply HELP for help, or contact us using the details below.
  • Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
  • Consent to receive texts is not a condition of purchasing any service.

11. Promotions & Referrals

Promotions, discounts, and referral offers are subject to their stated terms, can't be combined unless we say so, have no cash value, and may be changed or ended at any time.

12. Photos & Marketing

We may take before-and-after photos of vehicles we service for quality records and marketing (e.g., website and social media). These photos typically do not include license plates or identifying personal information. If you'd prefer we not use photos of your vehicle for marketing, just let us know and we'll honor that.

13. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. You agree that any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Utah. We encourage you to contact us first so we can try to resolve any issue directly.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent version, and continued use of our services after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
